Or ‘ukelele’ in my case!
Learning to ‘blow my own trumpet’; to love myself, to trust in myself and in my intuition wasn’t easy. Building up my self-esteem and self-confidence enough to be able to share myself with the world took time and effort. In the early days I certainly couldn’t look deep into my own eyes and say “I love you“. But eventually this changed, and thanks to A LOT of amazing, wonderful, shinny human beings in my life, as well as angels, archangels and Source, I now know that ‘Who I Am Is LOVE’.
I love to play a tune or two on my ukelele.
Whether that’s a mantra, Hallelujah, or a song I’ve channeled.
And I sound quite lovely, even if I do say so myself!
Realising your fullest potential and shinning like
the star you are
is your greatest gift to the world.
This means being your best cheerleader or supporter;
respecting, honouring and loving yourself fully.
Loving yourself warts and all !!!
Know your strengths and your weaknesses,
your dark shadow self as well as your light Higher Self.
There is an ancient Greek aphorism ~ Know Thyself ~ maybe you have heard of it.
There are numerous interpretations of what exactly it means. The explanation I would
like to focus on here is that it’s a good idea to know yourself first.
Before you go pointing the finger at anyone else, before you start challenging
others on their points of view, their life or anything else.

Some Things I Have Discovered Are
I AM
Hope: Who I Am is Hope. During one of my first personal development courses I uncovered that “Who I am is Hope“. This is not about being hopeful that one day something might happen. This is ‘hope‘ as in holding the space for someone to believe that something is possible for them! For some the bright lights of Hollywood might be too bright and overwhelming at first. They need the small flame of a simple candle. A little light of ‘hope’ that guides them to the world of possibility. Until one day, when they are ready, they see the light at the end of the tunnel. This allows them to step into their sovereign Self, their Divinity of imperfect perfection.
Love: Love is who I am. In my humble opinion love is not an emotion, an action or a feeling. Love is the essence of who I am. It is a way of being. The alchemical force that has the ability to transmute all darkness if I choose to us it wisely in this way. Love can heal mind, body and spirit and bring us back to who we are. Love is…
Light: Many a time I have been referred to as light. During the time I ran the Richmond Damsels in Success, a nationwide organisation for female entrepreneurs, I was awarded ‘Lady of Light’. Personally I see every person as a being of light. Whether we know it or not people look up to us and reply on us to lead the way with our light. If only we knew, then we might shine our light brighter.
Tenacity: I am tenacious, meaning ~ I don’t give up easily ~. I am determined and persistent in most things I take on. A bit like a child asking for an ice-cream. I believe it is important that we never stop trying. As my mum used to say to me; “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again”. If you fall over; get back up again, dust your self off and try again. If you fail at something; think outside the box, try a new technique and have another go!
Sacred Rebel: I used to be ‘a rebel without a cause’. Rebelling against authority, like a troubled teenager challenging anyone and anything that stood in the way of my freedom. Now, having travelled the world, learning about myself and what I stand for, the richness of my life’s experiences has transmuted this former rebel. I currently consider myself to be ‘A Rebel With a Cause!’ A Sacred Rebel on a mission to guide those who invite me alone, to stand together nurturing our own flame of Truth. As a Sacred Rebel I believe it is important to questions everything. I believe that the Truth is personal, I believe that just because someone is an ‘authority figure’ it doesn’t make them right. And it doesn’t mean they have power over you. Each man or woman is a powerful free force of nature. You know your Truth and you alone.
Deeply Intuitive: My intuition and I are now dear friends. The whispering voice of my inner-knowing is strong and true. I hear clearly the intuitive guidance I receive and act accordingly.
It was not always this way though. I didn’t always listen to my intuition. Sometimes I didn’t hear it at all. At times I didn’t like the message I received. In hindsight, there were many occasions like this, where I could have saved myself a lot of pain and suffering further along the way.
Intuition is a skill anyone can developed. Listening, having faith and trusting in yourself.
Inspiration: My mum has always said I am her inspiration. For many years I cast this aside as something all mothers say about their daughters. At some point I started truly embodying this idea that I inspire people and thats when I really began to see it. Whether it was my tenacious nature of not giving up and following my dreams, or my delicious rebellious fight for the people and the things I believe in, or shinning my light so that all those around me can see their way to being their full potential. …Read more…

A Miracle
My life has been a miracle since the day I was born! Full of mystery and magic.
It all began one winter morning in November. No mobile phones or whatsapp in those days. So, my father drove round the neighbourhood hollering to friends and family that I was ‘on my way’! My mother gave birth to me in our wood-cabin on Vancouver Island, Canada. With an audience of eight children and four adults to welcome me. I took my first breath on the stage of life arriving in celebration! As my consciousness hit the ground running I was blessed to receive a Spiritual Wise Woman as my mother. The journey from there is long and exciting with many twists and turns. As I’m sure is your tale. May we share our stories with one another to empower and grow.
Maybe it was the magic and sacredness of a home birth that determined the course of my wild and crazy life. Like many others my journey of personal discovery has not been easy, however wonderful and natural my entrance seemed! I was born into a violent family home situation, which led to my mother leaving my father at a young age. Uprooted, moving house and country at the age of one and a half. In fact I had moved house nine times before I was five years old. My childhood was clouded with nightmares, low self-esteem, repressed and unexpressed emotions. Fast forward to my teenage years when I experienced various mental health issues; self harm, bulimia and a poorly attempted suicide. Even though many wonderful moments brightened my childhood, the challenges filled all the corners.
The depth of darkness and upset opened up the possibility of deep transformation. Willingly or unwillingly at times I took on the quest of the Heroines journey. Allowing me eventually to rise like a phoenix out of its own ashes.
